Dania Cintron

Relationship Specialist, Dania Cintron, has a no nonsense approach to discovering the underlying issues  in couples of all types and situations. She focuses on guiding the couples to discover their Relationship Truths and guides them on their journey to becoming the couple they seek to be. She also works with individuals on dating and life concerns.

With a strong Psychology background and experience in a large variety of sectors of the Mental Health field, Dania incorporates her knowledge to assist in many research projects and efforts. She now focuses her specialization in the field of Relationship Counseling and Coaching and making her self known with her straight forward “Truth” sessions.

-Worked as a Behavioral Health Technician and Group Therapist at a Crisis Stabilization Unit.

-Conducted group youth sessions for addiction recovery and support.

-Has acted as Lead Lab Researcher in a Longitudinal Behavioral Psychology Study.

-Is certified in Suicide Recognition/Intervention Tactics and Education.

-Is certified in HIV/AIDS  education through Island Coast AIDS Network.

-Has taken the O.S.H.A. Workplace Violence Prevention Training Certification Class.

-Is a Baker Act Specialist in the State of Florida.

-Has completed Professional Boundaries Training.

-Has completed Diversity Competency Training and Certification.

-Certified in De-escalation Training for Effective Anger Management.

-Certified in Client Rights and Person and Family Centered Therapy.

-Has successfully completed multiple programs through The University of South Florida’s Department of Mental Health Law and Policy including:

  • Co-Occurring disorders in Persons in the Justice System
  • Issues and Techniques in the Assessment of Co-Occurring Disorders
  • Understanding the needs of persons with Co-Occurring Disorders
  • Women and Co-Occurring Disorders
  • Co-Occurring Disorders among Older Adults

-Has successfully coached many individuals and couples with an exceptionally satisfactory track record.

-Met the eligibility requirements as a Certified Relationship Specialist from the American Psychotherapy Association.

-Participated in the State of Florida’s first accredited Psychology of Relationship’s certifying course through Seminole State College and the University of Central Florida.

-Trained in the Psychology of Marriage and the Family.

-Six years of course work in the Psychology arena covering topics ranging from General Psychology to Abnormal Psychology and even Forensic Psychology.

-Completed a specialization course in Human Sexuality.

-Has hosted workshops and informal study sessions on the topics of Human Sexuality and the Psychology of Relationships.
